Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your insurance application, please contact us promptly. The refund window for an issued policy is 24 hours from issuance.

Before your policy is issued

If you have paid but the insurer has not yet issued your policy, contact us as soon as possible with your application reference and payment details to request cancellation. We will check the application status with the insurer and confirm whether payment can be returned, including any non-refundable charges that may apply. If the insurer declines your application, we will advise you about the return of any payment made.

Within 24 hours after issuance

Once the insurer has issued your policy, you must send your refund request within 24 hours of the policy's issuance time. The 24-hour window starts when the insurer issues the policy, not when you open the email or download the document. A request within this window is eligible for review, not an automatic refund: we must confirm cancellation with the insurer and check whether cover has started, a claim has been made, and whether insurer charges, taxes or other non-refundable amounts apply. We will tell you the refundable amount before processing it.

After 24 hours

We cannot offer a refund for a policy already issued if your request reaches us more than 24 hours after issuance, except where applicable law requires otherwise. You may still contact us about cancellation; cancellation does not by itself mean a refund is due.

How to request a refund

Email hello@amenle.com with the subject “Refund request”, your name, application or policy reference, the date and time you are requesting cancellation, and your payment transaction number. We use the time your email reaches us to assess the 24-hour deadline. We will review your request with the insurer, explain the outcome and any deductions, and arrange an approved refund through an available payment method. Processing time depends on the insurer and payment provider.
